Mygica A680B and Mygica 6012A have no support in Linux OS as of yet, contrary to the claims by the manufacturer on their website.
This is my email exchange with them : Me---->>
I recently purchased Mygica-A680B and Mygica-U6012A USB tuners. I saw on this( http://www.mygica.com/blog/post/watch-TV-on-linux-pc-with-mygica-tv-tuners.html )page where you guys say that both of these cards are supported by Linux OS. However, It doesn't work in my Linux computer and according to the Linux -TV website, these cards are currently currently not supported. I couldn't find a link to download Linux OS drivers on your website. If you have linux drivers for these, please send it to me. Thanks so much, Them--->
Sorry, currently we can not offer that driver, what I can help is that we can give you our chipset information, and you can dig the linux driver out. AU0828+AU8522+TDA18271C2 A680B, AU8524+TDA18211+AU0828 U6012A. If you can make a draft driver and need our help, we can put your request on our list and will update you later. You can find some information here http://www.linuxtv.org/hg/ Best Regards,
Me--> I am confused. I knew that this product is currently not supported by linuxtv. Then I read this on your website : 'Linux driver available, Android 2.2 driver coming soon ! ' And this : 'In order to meet the requirements of the customer and the trends of technology, MyGica developed the linux drivers of TV tuners which supports both 32 and 64-bit version of Ubuntu, openSUSE, Fedora and Mandriva OS, so the users of Linux can enjoy the convenience of computer and enjoy the analog and digital TV with it.' Here you say that you developed the linux driver. Now you are asking me write my own draft driver. If I had to write my own driver, I wouldn't have bought this product. This amounts to false advertising and I am going to seek legal opinion. This is blatant cheating.
**Update # 1 : **
Perhaps there are some mistakes on Mygica blog, I have asked someone to correct it asap.
I'm sorry for that. As you know, we are developing linx driver of A680B and U6012A these two products, but has not finish.
They will be come soon.
I think you will be interesting in this
